AGE REQUIREMENTS

Participants must be between the ages 5 - 13 years old to attend Legends Sports Camp.

LOCATIONS:

We operate out of two locations:

Riverdale Park East Rink - 610 Broadview Ave, Toronto, ON M4K 2N9

Otter Creek Centre - 140 Cheritan Ave, Toronto, ON M4R 1S8

DATES & TIMES

Legends Sports Camp’s summer program runs from July 1 - August 30, 2024.

Each session includes one full week of camp Monday to Friday.

Camp runs from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm each day.

THE SPORTS:

  • Soccer

  • Basketball

  • Ultimate Frisbee

  • Ball Hockey

  • Track & Field

  • Pickleball

  • There will also be various other sports played throughout the week such as dodgeball, swimming, various field and camp games, etc.

EACH SESSION INCLUDES:

  • Five days registration with our elite team of instructors

  • One official Legends Sports Camp T - Shirt

  • Exposure to 5 different sports, including skill development & instruction for each

  • Access to Riverdale Park Rink or Otter Creek Centre Rink (depending on location)

  • Participation in our weekly excursion

WEATHER:

  • When the weather is not permitting (i.e., rain), our program will operate in one of the indoor facilities within close proximity to each rink

  • Note: Our staff will send an email to parents/guardians regarding weather updates and location change for pick-up/drop-off

FIELD TRIPS:

  • We are excited to introduce our weekly field trips this year

  • Examples of weekly field trips include: Blue Jays Game, Hockey Hall of Fame, SkyZone, Swimming

  • Field Trips usually take place on the Wednesday of each week (Blue Jays game is Thursday, July 20th)

  • Field Trip activities will be announced in the coming months, but please note they are subject to change

  • Field Trip costs are included in registration fees

MANDATORY EQUIPMENT:

  • Running Shoes (Basketball or court shoes work best on our concrete surface)

  • We will also be playing ball hockey during one of the sport rotations. It is encouraged that players bring their own ball hockey equipment - Hockey Helmet, Hockey Stick, Hockey Gloves. If players do NOT have their own equipment, we will provide from our allocations.

 THINGS TO BRING:

  • Lunch

  • Water Bottle

  • Snacks

  • Sunscreen

SIGNING YOUR CAMPER IN AND OUT:

  • We ask that each day you sign your camper in and out with one of our instructors. This will help us track attendance and provide added security for your child

  • Drop-off is at 9:00 am

  • Pick up at 4:00 pm

  • Note: We offer Before and Aftercare for those who cannot make the pick up and drop off times. Please send us an email to make arrangements.

PAYMENT

  • We have introduced a new registration process this year to improve customer experience

  • Payments can be made online on our registration page

  • Please note: a 5.5% Processing Fee is added to every registration

  • In the case of camp being cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances (i.e COVID-19), an automatic refund will be issued.
